Default Patriot head questions

I picked up a set of patriot stage II 706 heads for another project but now im debating using them on my ls1 (98 806 head ls1) and going another route with the other engine.

So heres the problem. I was told they are 50cc but that seems unlikely as they came as 59cc and that seems like a ton of material to remove/add to a head.

So heres the deal the cam I have is a .612 lift cam and if these are 59cc heads how well do you guys think it will work and will I have any clearance issues? I know that will put my compression near 11.3. I also know if they are actually 50cc then that pretty much means they will have to stick with the other engine. Im really not finding a ton of info on these heads especially with patriot out of business. Luckily I picked them up cheap and in great shape.

So whats everyones thoughts?

If the combustion chamber has a CNC machined finished than its likely there milled to 60 CC after machining.

This is the only photo I have on my computer of the combustion chamber.

They are definitely milled but hard to tell if the combustion chamber has been modified much. Looks like it might have some minor work done in them.

Have some one CC them or buy a tool and do it your self to be sure.

yeah might run them by the machine shop tomorrow and see. Really hoping these things are 59cc and not 50cc. Think if they are 59cc even with that .612 lift cam ptv clearance should be ok.

The heads are definitely ported can tell that much. From what I can tell from patriot listing the heads should have .650 springs on them but looking at the heads I dont know. Guess we will end up finding out at the machine shop.

After some research I believe they had a dual gold spring on the Stage 2 heads.

Do they Have Patriot CNC'd across them?

Nothing CNC'd on them.... Though from what I read some of the older ones might not of???

And yeah the springs im a bit nervous about because I read the stage 1 heads only came with springs that held upto .600
