im running a tsp 408 but not with their internals... BUt from what i heard they are good for a budget build and stand a good amount of power! i believe they have a article on them.

Is a 408 block and a stock lq4 block different? Sorry for the dumb question.

Same block, the larger 4" stroke crank with a .030" larger bore makes it 408ci.

I just bought the house brand rotating assembly. Motors at the machine shop now getting the rods honed and the block line bored so hopefully they're good quality.

I have the ATK Block for my 408 project.

GET the TSP. Even though it costs more.

Blocks should be the it all comes down to the machining . Fwiw, I have an ask 408 and have no problems at all. Made over 800hp on 12.5 psi
