INSTALLED G5X-2 ....OMG!!!
We just finished another G5X-2 cam only and got 412rwhp 395rwtq through mufflers and a 12 bolt.
"Yeah Yeah"--It would take someone with 9 posts in 3 months to believe that kind of hogwash. It was more of an exhaust test rather than an engine test that you refer to. Keep on reading over here and you will learn alot.

<strong> because MMT dynoed a G5X-2 on dyno day, and then dynoed a M2, and the M2 Made more Power, and idles great with no tunning! </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It was within 1% of each other. So, more power is a relative term.
And there were several variables, like exhaust, intake, rearend, tires ... that could affect either car, either way.
So, post all the facts, not just those that fit your immediate needs.

Everything seems fine..started the car and it idled at 950rpm
Now that the rev limiter is at 6800 this thing pulls HARD..

I'm sure none of you have been able to keep your foot out of it long enough to tell, but I was really wondering. My car is becoming more and more of a funtime car, but I like to pack it up in th summer and take off on roadtrips, and the mileage plays a pretty big factor, especially with ga$ price$ lately <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Here's the deal with the gas mileage. Last thursday night Louis and I drove from Indiana to Texas. We both filled up before we left and compared usage at every fill-up along the way. My motor is completely stock with the exception of an LS6 intake and a lid. At our first gas stop we had gone 250 miles and I used 3 tenths of a gallon MORE then Louis with his G5X2 heads cam car. We both filled up again, drove another 300 miles and were again within tenths of a gallon of one another. All in all we averaged 64.7 MPH on a 17 hour 1100 mile trip and the G5X2 heads cam 463 RWHP car only used 2 TENTHS of a gallon more then my stock motored car. That ought to answer any gas mileage questions.
