My stock short block has done fine to 7,000 on a 200 shot. It's the main shaft in the trans that broke!

This cam won't pass an emissions test huh? We have a dyno style emissions test here in Ohio. They do an idle test then go up to about 35-50mph and test too. Debating on using this cam in my 2000 WS6 which is stock except for a cut-out, hood baffles removed and SPEC stage 3 carbon clutch.

We just got done checking P to V last night with the GX2 cam. Heads were cleaned 5 thou and GM MLS 50 thou head gaskets were used.

Intake - 100 thou clearance

Exhaust - 80 thou clearance

A little bit tight but we will see how it goes.

these dual springs, they don't require machining of the head to fit them? They're not larger in diameter?
