Congrats! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I'm suprised to hear that this 232 240 cam will idle with stock tuning. These motors (and I guess computers) just keep on suprising/amazing me.

I look forward to seeing track times. Good luck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

No problem man it was a fun day, now that spring break is coming up soon! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

And I must say this is my first time in a cam only G5X2 and holey crap. I mean I thought they were putting down some good numbers and I figured it would be quick. But WOW!!

I don't know if I have ever been more impressed with just one single mod to a car. I have been in a lot of cars and done quite a bit, but I think this is just plain cool as he!!. For something to pick up that much with only a cam...wow

If you ever get a chance to ride in one of these cars I think you will know pretty quickly its a darn good deal.

Let me know when your going to the track Jason, well cruise up together. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

She idles pretty nicely....sounds mean as hell. Doesn't even buck around at low rpms. The only thing I could compare it to would be my dad's new '03 Z06 with just a lot more pull....and I mean a lot, and Z06s are no wimps either.

From another thread, the lift was .595/.609 on a 112. I am intereested in what the advance is, and the p to v issues if any.

it is amazing, almost hard to believe that this huge cam will idle well (subjective and relative) considering a year or two ago people were having trouble with the hotcam on stock programing and that was only a 218/227 cam!?!

weird huh? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />

Yeah, I heard your car fire up and idle (I was sitting in Lou's office when Louis called him)... VERY cool. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I'm looking forward to seeing some more times from this cam... seems to be pretty F'n impressive.

Glad I could provide a shop and some wrench turnin. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" /> That G5X2 idle is incredible.

We shall see how our LG hot-rods fair at the track this sunday. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />

I know that at 850 RPMs, RAGEman's car "would idle" and it "wouldn't die", but it wasn't a very 'clean' idle. There was definitely some stumbling and hunting.

Set the idle to 925 though, and give the computer some time to learn, and the idle smoothed right out to a nice rolling lope.

I just think it's kinda misleading that you use "like stock" and "stock programming"... It ain't like stock, that's for damn sure. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Just don't want guys to get the wrong impression. Not knocking it at all, I rode in RAGE's car, and that thing pulls all the way up.

Good luck at the track. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Seems like each month theres bigger and better products out there! From headers to cam.....

It makes it a bit easier for me to ride out my warranty. In a year a half who knows what will be on the market!

This cam sounds great! Good job LG!

Hate to sound <img border="0" alt="[rainbow]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_rainbow.gif" /> but how is this awesome cam affecting Gas Mileage? I'm sure none of you have been able to keep your foot out of it long enough to tell, but I was really wondering. My car is becoming more and more of a funtime car, but I like to pack it up in th summer and take off on roadtrips, and the mileage plays a pretty big factor, especially with ga$ price$ lately <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Obviously, with the big lift on this cam, the heads have to be able to flow that high.

We have seen dyno graphs of G5X2 cars running LG's heads that have dyno'd in the 455-470 RWHP range with torque being between 420 and 430 or so. As far as track numbers from a G5X2 H/C car, I don't know of any yet... however, we will see some pretty soon with any luck (read: providing that the weather holds up).
