LOU..@ LGM looks like you have one hell of a CAM .good work..keep it up!! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
I'm suprised to hear that this 232 240 cam will idle with stock tuning. These motors (and I guess computers) just keep on suprising/amazing me.
I look forward to seeing track times. Good luck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
And I must say this is my first time in a cam only G5X2 and holey crap. I mean I thought they were putting down some good numbers and I figured it would be quick. But WOW!!
I don't know if I have ever been more impressed with just one single mod to a car. I have been in a lot of cars and done quite a bit, but I think this is just plain cool as he!!. For something to pick up that much with only a cam...wow
If you ever get a chance to ride in one of these cars I think you will know pretty quickly its a darn good deal.
Let me know when your going to the track Jason, well cruise up together. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I'm looking forward to seeing some more times from this cam... seems to be pretty F'n impressive.
We shall see how our LG hot-rods fair at the track this sunday. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />
Set the idle to 925 though, and give the computer some time to learn, and the idle smoothed right out to a nice rolling lope.
I just think it's kinda misleading that you use "like stock" and "stock programming"... It ain't like stock, that's for damn sure. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />
Just don't want guys to get the wrong impression. Not knocking it at all, I rode in RAGE's car, and that thing pulls all the way up.
Good luck at the track. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

It makes it a bit easier for me to ride out my warranty. In a year a half who knows what will be on the market!
This cam sounds great! Good job LG!
I just have on question does anyone know how this cam is going to perform with a set of fully ported heads or no just wondering. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
<strong> Are you still using the stock gears, clutch with this cam? I didn't see them in your sig <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Stock Clutch and gears...for now..
<strong> Very nice been thinking about getting the cam myself glad to hear it's working out.

Obviously, with the big lift on this cam, the heads have to be able to flow that high.
We have seen dyno graphs of G5X2 cars running LG's heads that have dyno'd in the 455-470 RWHP range with torque being between 420 and 430 or so. As far as track numbers from a G5X2 H/C car, I don't know of any yet... however, we will see some pretty soon with any luck (read: providing that the weather holds up).
