Default what is this?

So my car has been running rich and random misfiring but then after i idle it drives fine. Normally happens a little after start up. i found this was unplugged

where is it suppose to plug in at?

That is a solenoid for the A.I.R injection system. When I deleted mine I capped off the connection for that black plastic tube. If not you will have a vacuum leak.

I have long tubes so my egr is gone. that is part of the egr system I assume right? So just cap it off?

Ahh, I saw that too after my egr delete. I will cap this off as well. The only problem I have is after the car warms up and I shut it off for a short period of time (say to get gas) when I start it back up it almost stalls. Only if the car is warmed up...

No A.I.R Injection system that pumps fresh air into the manifolds to help pass emissions....totally separate from egr. 01-02 cars did not have egr anyway.

Certainly not an internal engine thing like a piston or rod bearing. This is external engine stuff.
