Default 383 LS1 build

Hey guys I have a 04 GTO M6 and Im getting ready to do a 383 Stroker build. Trying to break the 500whp mark N/A and yeah numbers dont mean crap blah blah blah. Planning on doing High RPM High compression. Want your opinions on the parts list. Already have Long tube headers and full exhaust. Currently have PRC Stage2.5 CNC ls6 cast heads milled to 60cc chambers. Gonna reuse the stock rockers. I will have a bare ls1 block to use as the new short block. Will be sending it out to be machined. Trans and rear end will be next on the list of mods. Also any recommendation on a machine shop in western Ky would be great. Gonna be tuning it at ShorTuning.

Lunati Forged 4in Crank
Diamond -2cc pistons
TSP 6.125 H Beam Rods
FAST 92mm Intake Mani and Throttle Body
Bosh EV14 52lb injectors with EV1 P&P adapter
Lingenfelter High Flow Intank GTO Fuel Pump Kit
Melling High Volume Oil Pump
Cloyes LS1/LS2-1x/LS6 Hex-A-Just True Roller Single Roller C5R Timing Set
Comp Cams "Comp R" hydraulic lifters
Monsters Stage 3 clutch
Drag Bags
Custom Cam from Martin
Tick Clutch Speed Bleeder
TSP engine rebuild Kit all the gaskets ill need hopefully and lifter trays
New arp 2000 rod bolts
New arp head bolts
Pushrods to be determined once its all together
Rotating assembly will come balanced with new bearings
Static CR will be roughly 12.1:1 on 93 octane

All thoughts and opinions welcome

I just built mine this summer. I used -8 Wiseco pistons with 58cc heads. With your -2 pistons you are going to have pretty high compression and will have to work with the cam grinder to keep your dynamic compression within reason (like well under 9) or you're going to have a problem with knock. An underdrive damper will help a little while you're at it chasing +500. I had to rebuild due to budget lifters (Lunati Street) and so I went with the Lunati High RPM billet link bar "Race" lifters and hopefully won't blown up another one. FWIW although the Monster 3 is all the rage now and it works OK I wasn't that happy with it. It acts like an on-off switch and if you drive in traffic it will glaze and chatter. I tried the McLeod RST this time. I only got a little over 500 miles on it before I stored for the winter but so far I like this clutch a lot more than the 3. It holds to 700 HP and is butter soft with smooth engagement. Those injectors will work but be really big for your build. I have Greentop 42#s and have a ton of headroom left.

I have BBK rails on a FAST 102/NW 102, my intake, SD tuned, SLP underdrive, SLP LTs, FTI Hellraiser cam, Lunati dual springs w/Ti retainers, Rollmaster single chain, Melling pump, Ford 42#s, custom exhaust, Callies crank and rods, Wiseco -8 pistons, LPE LS6 heads, .040 Cometics, trunion upgrade and Lunati Race link bars. I built it for street use and drive-ability. These strokers have a ton of low end torque.

I agree with svede, 52lbs is a little overkill, I'm using racertronix 42lbs and its no where near max duty, but best thing is to ask your tuner and whet he feels comfortable with.

That is all you'll need! They flow ~39lb/hr at LS 58psi pressure. They flow as much as LS7 injectors and unless you are trying to make that power on E85 they will be plenty of injector for gasoline and are much better injectors than the older lucas/delphi fat body injectors. Relatively cheap for new pencil injectors too!

I'd get away from the Comp "R" lifters. Pain in the *** to setup. Go with the Morel drop in replacements. Much better.
