TSP is a good company, you bought the kit because you trust them.
Also understand that with an aftermarket can springs do wear out.
Lots of members just go into threads spouting off whatever they heard is the best and use it as a blanket application. Duals when not needed make the valvetrain heavier and contribute to a harsher ride for the lifter which equals more wear. Each spring has their place like caprice said. Learn what it is and spring accordingly. And again anyone who thinks the tiny little spring inside duals is saving ther motor when one lets go at 6k near he red line better pass whatever they're smoking.
OP what kind of springs do you have? and can you post a link to the tsp cam you have?
If the cam came from us, it won't have .693" lift. Only way that would be possible would be if you ordered a custom-grind and just provided the lobe numbers for the grind. Assuming the cam is really .593" lift, the single beehives will work just fine.Send me an email at trevor@texas-speed.com with your name that was used to purchase the cam kit, and I'll look the order up to verify what you ordered.
Thanks!
