Heads for 02 Ws6-possibly Prc as cast 225
So im getting ready to buy a set of heads for my Trans Am Ive been doing a ton of reading and have narrowed it down to the Prc as cast 225. Quick run down to what the car has done to it, Ported stock tb, ls6 intake, 1-7/8 Longtubes with duals, Sns ls2 stage 2 cam, built trans with Fti 3800, and 4.10's. So far with this combo the car has gone 11.60's with it shifting at only 6100 rpm.
Just wanting to hear any other options or ideas for the car, I havnt seen much feedback on these heads but the little i have seen they seem to work good. Also if I did go with them would i be able to reuse my current pushrods or would i have to get a different size. My end goal for the car is for it to go bottom 11's on motor if not better.

That was the first time out with the car since i got it so it was just a baseline, i logged it after i got home and thats when i found out it was only shifting at 6100, it has since been bumped up to 6600. I was actualy happy to see it run as good as it did shifting so early. Gonna bring it back to the track soon to see if it made any difference.

Those are a great head for the money. For your combo I'd simply take a cartridge roll to the exhaust port on them and run some .040" Cometic head gaskets. Make sure to check your piston to valve clearance as it will be close due to the size of that camshaft and the larger than stock intake valve in that head. With the chamber at 62 cc and the thinner gaskets you will be right around 11.4 compression ratio. You'll see bottom elevens for sure and with some mineshaft air a 10.90 is possible.

383 forged rotating assembly -3cc valve relief flat top piston
Custom ground tick nitrous cam
Ported fast 90/92mm tb with direct port nx express kit 42lb injectors
Prc as cast 225 head
1 7/8 headers true dual 3 inch x pipe with bullets going through a stalled auto and 8.8
I came up with 7.450 on pushrod length... Deck height is a little taller on the after market castings... Originally had stock bottom end ls1 bbk intake ms3 cam with the heads and your normal bolt ons and stalled auto made a few pulls on the dyno and started having issues spun a rod bearing so truly no result on that setup

What puts the PRC as cast above all the other as cast heads is we still fully cnc the chambers, and even shape the valve guides for optimal flow! Typically cylinder head shops just rush the lower dollar as cast stuff out the door, but at PRC we spend as much time finishing the as cast as any other head. The result is a killer flowing head for the $$$$!!
