Default lq4 main caps
hey guys I came across an lq4 block for a stupidly low price.. and since im wanting to build a 408 im game. the only problem is it doesn't have any main caps..... what all caps can I use and what else am I gonna have to do?

I would imagine any 4.8-6.0 main caps would work. They're numbered 1-5 and have the block line bored. If you planned on arp studs 90 percent of the time it would have to be line bored anyway.

I have a set that I keep in the shop for a conversation piece. They came off a engine built by Yates, and have a cool RYR stamping on them. I’d sell them. Pm me if your interested.

Check eBay I see sets of good main caps all the time. I bought a set last year and you could still see the crosshatch from the hone on them.
