I'll be getting my upgrades done next week just wondering what kind of hp numbers I should expect. ...btr stage 4 cam 243 heads unported..ls6 intake. ...the guy told me I may lose a bit with this cam numbers wise because of the ls6 intake....

Just going to depend on the dyno and the rest of your mods, trans, gearing, etc....

If I had to take a wild guess I'd say around 400 with those mods but who knows. What it traps at the track will tell you the true power that it makes

410-425 realistically with locked converter depending on dyno. You could get a whacky dyno that reads 450 who knows.

Dyno#s can be misleading. Track #s are where its at.

I wouldn't be very concerned with that. I know a guy who put down 422 on a mustang dyno with your mods. It was a heavy z28 and ran mid 11s on nittos.

Realistically you're probably leaving 15 hp on the table with the LS6 over a fast intake. If I were you I'd stop focusing on dyno numbers and just go out and enjoy the car

Of course he can make more with the better intake but at what point does the part become too much $ for the gain? Depends on how deep the pockets are and wants of the owner. At the time I was doing mine I decided to put the cherry on top with the fast but there were times during tuning that I wished I would have kept the ls6 intake. The fast was leaky but that all got worked out now. I will say the fast was a PITA. If I was to do it all over I would have procharged it but you live and learn. Now IDK if I want to do a ls3 in this car or get a vette and blow it.

I hear ya man, and to be honest if I didn't have nitrous I'd be all over the blower idea as well. This motor can handle around 900 hp, and I'd love to throw a 300-400 at it or some major boost. I had major leaking issues with a used Fast that I bough, but I sold that and got a brand new one, and never had one fitment or leak issue

Lots of people getting it done on here lately with a stock ported throttle body and an LS6 intake. Unless you plan on getting some nice ported heads, I think the fast isn't necessary.

I am curious to know your results. I have a similar parts list that is about to be installed. BTR stage 4, hand polished 243's, but I am throwing on a fast 92 as well. My car is a M6 and going through a 9inch though.
