Mamo 220s in 383 stroker
I went to a Nitto NT05 275 now as that was the closest size they offered that works. I've tried drag radials before and the small amount of increase in traction was outweighed by the cost of having to replace them all the time.
It's pretty cool out here right now which isn't helping the summer tires either. The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I know it's not an exact science but some of my impression of the heads/cam I get from my VE table fueling. Part of my top end gain is a better valve train but even down lower around peak torque my initial tuning is showing a 10-15% higher fueling rate with these heads from 4,000 rpm on up for the same 12.8 AFR at wide open throttle.
How is the idle quality and street manners etc?
Do you have that part of the tune dialed in yet?
Really glad to hear its in the car, running well, and the install is behind you!! (most importantly.....LOL)

Cheers,
Tony

Anything worth doing is worth doing well. Build it right the first time....its alot cheaper than building it twice!!
I have to get back into the rocker covers as it seems to have tapping that I think is abnormal. Changing cam and rockers make it a little nosier? To be safe I'm going to recheck the rods. I have Lunati (Morel) high rpm, short travel lifters so the preload is pretty light too. I'v been reading that the block grows about .010 when hot and maybe that has something to do with it. Like I said it pulls up to 7 grand in a heartbeat and I have to be careful in the first three gears going WOT or the back end wants to pass the front.
