All around I would have to pick the G5X3. Thats just my opinion based on what I've read from people that actually have the cam (not just specualte about something they don't have....like I'm doing ) but both are good cams, and can be very streetable with the right tune

From a lot of research lately, my opinion is that X3 has much better trq. down low that the T-Rex.
On top the difference would be the rest of your combo.
From the two, I would pick the X3 (even if I can't get the specs LOL)

There is a dyno of the X3 on another thread (G5x2 VS G5X3) and also a couple in dyno archives.

From the graphs I've seen, at 3000 RPM, the T-ReX and G5X-3 make nearly identical torque and HP numbers. In fact, the two make very similar numbers until 4500 RPM, where the T-ReX begins to widen the gap.

The problem is below 3000, where daily driving occurs...

I am also deciding between these exact two cams. Proven numbers / dyno sheets / sound clips would be great. I do know that the trex cost a few hundred less.

Well I like the G5X3 cam cause it comes in a 114LSA (no flycutting) or 112(flycutting required) and maybe less tuning issues for daily driving, I was looking at getting the T-REX but that 110 LSA scared me for my daily driver. Both cams are impressive. So I guess its whatever floats you boat

It's the same price. Not a few hundred less. They are both in the mid to high $400's cam only.

Well I was talking about the package cause I dont know anyone who uses the stock springs...etc when they install one of these cams

The trex http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=3&pcid=51 cam package for 764.99 + 175.00 = $939.99

I just called LG $1350.00 for their cam package
A difference of 410.01
