their rods/cranks/pistons/etc....just about everything else they make seems to be good....

I don't think their cams will make as much HP as a company that specializes in LS1s (ex: LG, TR, MTI, etc....) just because that’s not their main focus.

Mmmmm.... I disagree about their cams not being "up to par". My little itty bitty Lunati T1 made 415/405 w/the "normal" bolt on's and good heads(TEA) in my old set up..... did I mention that was through a 12 bolt/4.10/slicked rear? ... or did I mention that it was making 400 lbs ft TQ. @ 4k rpm's?

Nuthin' wrong w/Lunati. It's STILL about the COMBO.....(a good tune don't hurt either).

Realize also that those companies buy their cams from a manufacturer. They are not ground in house. There are numerous manufacturers we have grind our cams for us such as Comp, Lunati, CamMotion, and others. Each of them make great cams for your LS1. It is all about your combo and what you want to accomplish with your setup. If you'd like to chat about it anytime, feel free to give us a call and we'll help you pick the right cam for you

Just be sure the ramp rates are comparable. Look at the duration and different lifts...not just at .050.

Lunati can custom grind you just about anything you want.
