I have done a lot of reading, and it seems that people with o-ring problems have fluctuation and lose pressure @ WOT-- and I don't have either of those symptoms.

Everything looked perfect when I took it apart, and I very carefully put everything back together.

I'm going to buy an oil pressure gauge, I'm just trying to decide which one. I want to run it in the car, so I'm leaning towards getting an electric unit, instead of mechanical.
I run the MTX-D oil pressure and temperature gauge. Really like it.

That looks like a really nice gauge. I wish it had a combined pressure/temp sending unit. I'd order it right now if it did! Where are you running the pressure and temp sensors at on the motor? I was going to drill and tap the adapter plate above the oil filter.

Hey they sell an oil pressie pressure adapter plate that hooks up to place above the oil filter . So you don't have to tap the stock.one and there fairly cheap .

For pressure I run it off the front galley port on the drivers side. Temp I put the sender in my oil cooler adapter above the filter.

yeah, I have seen those. I like the angle of the stock one, though. I just hope there is enough room between the header and the sending unit.

Did your new LS2 water pump clear your intake without any grinding? I started on my FAST 102 intake install yesterday and sure enough the intake hits the water pump.

Yes, the water pump clears perfectly! I wish I would have bought it in the first place.

So here is a thread I started about my oil pressure issue --

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...l#post19200022

I didn't really want to muddy up my build thread with all this crap, and I didn't want this to be the only thread I ever posted, lol.

Is Lorenz @ LSX Power Tuning still helping you dial your tune in? My tuner can’t get my car to stop dying on startup after the FAST 102/NW 102 in stall. I was thinking of buying HP Tuners and giving Lorenz a call.

Yeah, Lorenz is still helping me out. The great thing about his email tunes are that you can always get adjustments made for no additional charge. He is a great guy to deal with.

I still haven't had a chance to drive 3 hours to get my car on a real dyno, but my car drives just like it did stock.

that's the great thing about an über heads and mild cam build. Make very good power and very good drive ability

Lorenz is pretty easy to work with. I need to get out and log more data to touch up a few minor imperfections in the tune. Overall tho I have been happy with it and just drive it. 2500miles since the H/C/I .

Thanks 5_litre_eater. My tuner is 2 hours away and it is a big hassle to keep having to go back for a retune. I have to get there 3 hours before the tuning session so the engine will be cold and at $100 a retune it adds up quick. I think I will buy HP Tuners and give Lorenz a call. I want to learn how to tune anyway.

Great thread man. I love these mamo builds and is why I chose to go with him here recently. He is truly on a different level when it comes to this stuff. Anyway, nice build. Enjoy your car.
