Default Comp cam?

I just recently got a cam from a friend. And it has these numbers on it. Can anyone tell me what they mean? It's not a part number

I'd say it is. Comp 54-462-11 but on a 113lsa

i don't think it would. maybe one of the cam experts could tell as i'm not a big cam runner. that's a big cam for stock cubes and is suited for a stroker.

A ms4 is a way bigger cam, and it's a 111lsa. It supposedly clears stock pistons.

If this cam truly has a 243/251 duration on a 113 LSA, then it's a lot bigger than the MS4, and will not clear on a stock LS1

I didn't do anything actually. Installed the springs. Put the cam in and before I put everything back together. I installed the push rods and rockers, spun the motor a few times and didn't feel anything. So i took the chance and crank the motor over a couple times and didn't hear anything funny. So I hook up the plugs and it started. Needs a tune but sounds really good. This is a picture of a sheet that cam with the cam

Yeah I saw that cam card, but with that much duration with a 110 ICL I'm surprised it fit

Right but the intake centerline is 110 which reduces clearance

Ohh I see what you mean. Well, hopefully the cam works good and makes noticeable power difference from before

If it's clearing then I guess all is good, I'm just surprised. Probably a bit of a dog down low, but should make some big top end power
