Need lots of advice on an L33 build going into an E36 M3
Brand new to the LSx world, looking for some advice on my setup, specifically the L33. I'd like to be making around 400 whp, for no other reason than it's about double what my current DD puts down (2004 330i ZHP). Car will be a DD in the summer months, and I'd like to be able to do some auto-x and maybe hit the strip once in a while. I don't have an unlimited budget on this thing either.
Basics on the swap:
-1997 BMW M3 coupe
-GTO T56
-Either 3.38 or 3.91 gears
So far, I have the following for the build:
-156k mile L33, with matching harness, 799 heads
-LS6 intake and cable tb, stock F body injectors
-1 5/8" long tubes (set up for swap)
-90mm throttle body (probably won't use it but it was a good deal)
-Powerbond 10% underdrive dampener
-F body accessories
So, here's my list of questions:
-Anything that should be replaced right off the bat with the motor? Thinking rear main seal at the very least, as well as any other gaskets that may need attention.
-Should I go with some sort of OEM cam/valvespring combo or are there aftermarket options that are better? Guessing I wouldn't have to go too crazy here?
-What other supporting mods am I going to need to hit my power goals?
-What is the ideal PCM for this setup?
-Is a bored throttle body worth it for the setup, or go with the stock unit?
-What injectors- are stock acceptable in this setup?
Not necessarily engine related- but . . .
-Thinking of an LS7 clutch- OEM or luk/sachs?
-Lightweight flywheel worth it?
Thanks in advance, I'm sure I'll have more questions moving forward.

Did the engine and harness not come with the computer? Just find a computer out of a 99-02 Fbody, Truck, or similar. Everything sounds fine though. Try and see if you can find the computer that came with that engine and harness.

Engine came without a harness, ended up buying a harness off a different 2005 L33.

The motor and harness are DBW stock.
The throttle body I got with the LS6 intake is DBC. I have a DBW setup in my current BMW and I'm not a huge fan. From what I've read, I'll need to get the two connectors off a DBC setup and run those back into the L33 harness, then will need a PCM capable of running the DBC throttle body.

Your harness have red/green connectors?
If so, ask in the scan tune section if there is a red/green PCM that works with DBC.
Personally, I'd ditch that harness and buy a stand alone for red/blue PCM.
WAY less hassle.
As for 400 rwhp, you will need a pretty serious setup to get there. With a cam, 350-375 is doable.
