Yeah, he knows what he's doing. I have a crank over there getting balanced right now.

As long as your tune is good and the bearing clearances are right, I'd think that shortblock would be fine to 7-800whp. I just don't like pushing the stock sleeves that hard though.

I have the arp head studs. Are you still building your car or is it finished? I seen a few videos of it and when I'm done I'd like to see how I'd run against it.

The LS1 blocks had sleeve issues. The block itself should be good to around 1000 HP Flywheel. A couple of guys have come close to that on a bone stock LS1 shortblock.

Unfortunately, the stroker crankshaft just compounds the problem by putting more side-load on the sleeves. Long story short, you upgraded the rotating assembly, which wasn't the weak point to begin with, and only make the weak point even more of a problem to begin with....

Gotcha. So if I blow this motor up. I'll stick these parts in a iron block. That should hold up

I know you have some major weight reduction. Have you hooked up the spray? We're you doing a 200 or 250?

Ha, just got done installing another clutch today. I love breaking my car... It's still way to fun to drive. Hope you get her back from the tuner running like she should.
