Nice job OP!

What CAI are you going with? Not many options on closesd systems. Maybe vararam or Callaway honker? The honker has the ribbed neck but it will fot over a NW 102. The vararam I think is too small for a 102 mm TB.

Probably go with the Halltech Venom. I'm not using the 102 MM only a ported 90 MM. Now my next problem is traction; I would like to go with either Toyo R888's or the Toyo TQ Drag Radial or if anyone has a suggestion please comment. Ideally I want to go with 315/35/18's.

Nice results! I've only driven mine twice since the mods because of weather and other changes I'm making, but I know the fun/scared feeling you're talking about haha. Be careful out there!

I'll also be looking for tires, but wanted to get rid of my stock clutch first. Let us know what you go with and how you like them.

Very nice OP. The most impressive thing to me is the torque curve and how far the power carries up top. It looks like it would have kept making power till 7 grand and then flat-line after that. I think that cam really compliments the flow characteristics of those heads.

Very impressive! Two recommendations come to mind for a sticky tire that handles decent for a drag radial. The Toyo TQ and Nitto NT05R. I've owned both in a 315 and really like them for street/strip use

I'm really leaning towards the Toyo TQ's. Right now I have 295/35/18 Continentals and they do not hold at all and even on the dyno the tuner had major slippage with them. Plus the Toyo's look good too

Yep the TQ is a solid choice IMO. I make similar power to you running n/a, and the TQ holds just fine at this power level. Plus it handles surprisingly well for a drag radial

Awesome numbers man, congrats!
I have almost the identical combo with AFR 215's which Tony spec'd and massaged for my SS...I put down 455rwhp on a dynojet and trapped 121mph, but I know it has more in it...running a monster level 2 clutch that's only a few LBS lighter than stock, my intake tract is 4", but my 1-3/4" LT's into a 3" single exhaust is now my restriction...hope to see similar numbers to yours once I address that

I would say make sure your intake is smooth and open

As for tires, I'm running the TOYO TQ proxes now, which are a nice tire and should work good for you...but honestly I wish I went with the softer MT ET streets, this combo puts drag radials to the test

I'm running 305/30:19 continentals. Big improvement over the hankook a they replaced. Gained a lot of traction going to Vikings. Improve WT transfer will make a big diff on traction.

I do suspect there's more in your combo, depending on how much time you spend on the dyno and invest in exhaust stuff, but your numbers are very much in line with SBE and Mamo top end.

How is the car running these days? Any updates on intakes and tires?

Car is running great. More power and throttle response then I thought it would have. I'm installing 315/35/18 Toyo TQ drag radials today for extra grip and when the 3:90 gear is installed next month then they will really shine. The wider tire should give it a meaner stance and the gear upgrade will finally completed the package. As for the CAI I bought the Halltech Venom II which allowed me to keep the factory MAF but put it in a better location next to the TB.
