Anybody have a count of how many chevy small blocks are produced daily?
And this one didn't even make 100,000 grandma driven miles.
We should all quit buying these pieces of crap.

LOL, yes very, how many of these engines are out there doing what they are designed
to do, and nobody hears anything about them.

We handle 16 of the State cars and about 10 or 12 of the local city's caprices.
Pretty much all of them have been in for AFM lifter or transmission issues. This was the first one where one of the non-AFM lifters was an issue and the first one with engine damage.
I've ridden with these guys (and not in the back seat either). These guys beat the hell out of these cars.

They are all limited at 130mph and it's a major complaint. But now they are all reaching 100k so that limiter is about to change. Maybe I'll limit them to 98 for safety reasons.

I'll probably change it to about 160. If they come in saying they hit the limiter, I'll have to ask, WTF were you doing going 160mph???
