Sorry,
I drppped the ball, I had to finish up a quote for a large customer over the last 2 days. I just talked to the plant manager at Morel, he is sending me out a sample of the hyd and the solid for the LS1s. These are drop in.

Erik,
What makes theirs better, no out sourcing on heat treat. The shop is 80k square feet with a state of the art computer controlled electric furnace. Morel is able to monitor his processes in house so as to maintain the quality from batch to batch.
Out of the box thinking. They designed and patented the linkless roller lifter back in the 80's when working with McLaren on the buick indy stuff. Now their dual roller lifter in the Fuel and top alky classes dominates.

I'll post some pics of these Tuesday when they get here.

Mike I will call.

T/A
E-mail or PM me and I will give you the names of sponsors that have already ordered them. Yes those are LS1 specfic. These take the OEM lifter guide so they are drop in. The "oil groove" on the lifter is specifically designed for the LS1 engine.

what do you guys think the solid lifters are gonna be worth in added power?
besides the advantage of reving the **** out of it and everything in the valvetrain staying in check ,

i have seen test in carbed cars where the same cam in a solid version made 20 more hp

nice. So two board sponsors and one non baord sponsor sell them? Hmmmm have to give them a call.

Then I have to figure out what fairly radical roller cam I will go with....uggg I hate that part....
