Need cam help...thoughts??
Ok guys,
Need your thoughts on this. Please remember that this is a 2003 S10 daily driver, and will not see any track time.
I am going to use the TBSS intake and throttle body on my LQ9, with 317 heads. I have headers, the truck is an automatic with 3:42s outback.
I am looking for a cam that sounds good and is daily driver friendly.
My cam choice is the WS6 LS1 HOT CAM....219/227 @.050 .590/.599 on a 112+3 lsa. Their cam kit comes with PAC Racing 1218 beehive springs. I am going to install the CHE kit as well.
I am looking for about 400hp at the crank.
Thanks for your help.

You also are not going to beat the tech support and customer service the guys at the WS6 Store provide. They are second to none!

Thanks Dave! and OP thats right and we have em ready to go! $500 this week only!! Then back up to 515. No one has a better price on cam install kits, or are more complete. We also have very good deals on the viton valve stem seals if you need them as well.

Small update on our highlift hotcam at least. It gained 5mph over the og hotcam.

You can expect fairly similar results for our asa cam as it uses the exhaust lobe from the hotcam for its intake.

When I get ready, I will be getting that cam kit and the timing gears and chain from you.
Thanks, David
