Rpmspeed New HD rocker sets (not comp)

There's nothing left of that horse. It's been beaten into a grease spot in the dirt.
I'll watch this thread closely over the next few months as I'm looking and waiting for the whole picture here. Several vehicles running this in all conditions with 10k+ miles on the rockers. Then, I'll make my decision as to whether these are worth purchasing. (I currently have the Summit Brand on my car right now with minimum miles. This was before all of these other options came out and before all of the failures were noted, unfortunately.) All this technical BS/Chinese bashing/and unneeded requests for Lab test is just clutter IMHO.
The real test is in the engines. DD engines to full track cars running these Trunnions/bearings. Good luck Tech, I believe you have the best intentions for the LS community.
That's all....

The metallurgical tests were morr for us to even make sure they were worth using. After the tests came back and we checked out every facet, then we were ready.
In disclosure of my engine. Its in a 2005 2500 hd 6.0/4l80 4x4. It goes on road and off road nearly every day. It has 288k on the engine right now.
Engine upgrades at 207k were melling 10295 pump, new ls2 timing set, thrust plate, 243 heads cleaned, surfaced with fresh valve job. Pac1218 springs. Custom cam in the 208/210 near .600 lift 114lsa. its mainly for more tq. Cai. Efans. Magbaflow catback.
I installed these rockers at 286k along with a fresh oil change, our zddp lube on the rockers, zddp additive in the oil.
So its about the run of the mill truck build so to speak.
Thank you for the respect. At least we know what we are trying to do does not go unnoticed!
Its nearing 289k now.

Great. That's a good test. I'd also like to see these ran in an engine with higher spring pressures and lift in the .610" - .650 range. Engines that live in the high RPM's for an extended period of time as well as the "run of the mill" engines with mild mods in a DD like yours. This is going to give us some real world feedback. I believe you've done your due diligence so far with your testing and would not have thrown these on the market without having high expectations for them. Looking forward to watching these closely over the coming months. I'd like to throw in a new set of rockers with a proven trunion upgrade without having to install the parts on them. I believe that has also contributed to "Some" of the problems with the needle bearings. Again, just MHO.

bump - any updates?
I like the idea of this product (relatively inexpensive, ready to drop-in, etc) but it would be nice to hear some reviews/experiences at some point. I'm sure there are some other folks like me that would be in, but want to see some actual results before committing.

ok, thanks. In the meantime, anyone here have some experience with these yet? Sorry to be so eager - I'm only in "gathering mode" for an upcoming winter heads/cam/headers upgrade.

We ask every customer to PLEASE provide feedback and info, but as you can see, nearly any feedback on here for vendors is only negative. We have had a few guys recently post about their good experience with us on the feedback section which is GREAT, but none of them got the rockers lol.
We welcome any and all feedback from customers, good or bad.
Especially on newer parts like these.

Long term test update. Wanted to pull them at 3k miles but wound up getting to them at 5k. Hard earned miles also with towing hauling and offroad stuff also.
The only "wear" is the needle bearing polishing the trunion. Zero wear otherwise. No metal particles no flaking off of the surface no grooves, no issues. Quieter than stock also.
Pics!! Pulled #3 int and exh for inspection. They look so good, when i get more time ill reassemble and put them back on. (first pic is from #3 int and 2nd is #3 exh)

Nice! They look rather.... untouched! Must be a metallurgical match!

I want to say that i used our zddp assembly lube liberslly on the valve tips pushrod cups and then worked it into the rocker bearings. I also used 1 full bottle of the Rislone ZDDP Additive (bought at the local auto parts store). It was $10. I HIGHLY recommend those steps and using a zddp additive or complete oil like Joe Gibbs BR when doing this to ensure proper mating surface break in.
