Anyone have Frankenstein stage 1 243 heads?

That's really interesting with the smaller intake port. At first I missed that these have the stock valve then realized it later. So for all competitive purposes it sounds like these would be more along the lines of the PRC stage 1 243's, but with the smaller intake port from what you're saying
I am pretty sure that I am going with Frankenstein Stage 1 heads. I doubt that I will be able to afford an LSXR 102 intake at the same time, so it really will be stock LS1 heads vs stage 1 243 heads. I have a new tuner, so I intend to dyno the car before and after with the same tuner.

I already have an LSX 90 intake and a pretty big cam. The specs of the cam have been lost, but it is 232-235/232-235 .590/.610. I have no clue what the LSA is.

smaller port and better flow should mean significantly better air velocity. The only unknown now becomes the valvejob.

I agree with Phoenix here. My cam sucks enough air that you can hear it from outside the car when the motor is cold (Volant-style 4" intake and ram-air hood). I think that the difference in LSX 90 to LSXR 102 will be minimal, but I already have the 102mm throttle body, with a spacer that makes the cruise control cable not fit. I want a ported intake, so I might as well get a 102mm intake. Besides, I will eventually get a bigger shortblock, so I'd rather buy parts once.

Update:
I talked with Frankenstein, and they can port an intake to match their heads down the road, so they don't require you to buy heads and intake at the same time. I assume it won't be a port matched intake, but I would think it would be really damn close. Good option if you don't have funds for heads and intake.
