Default LS6 cam or ??

Can someone tell me what cam this is by the numbers? Yes I've searched and all the configurations for LS6 cam have the 5308 with two rows of numbers after that.
This one only looks like this (and it is stamped/laser etched):
5308
416734
Nothing else....
Thanks,

You just answered your own question, 5308 is the LS6 cam.

Exactly, all my searching says there are 3 rows of number. I even called SD and another GM dealer...they/we are all puzzled. Wanting to know year and specs...there is a slight difference

I THINK the early LS6 cam is- 204/211, .525/.525, and the late one is 204/218, .551/.547, with a 116.5 LSA for both.
ANYONE correct me if necessary. 2002 was the year GM changed from early to late cams

^Looks good to me. If you are not sure, just put calipers to the lobes and subtract the lowest measurement from the highest measurement as you measure around one lobe to get the lift.

I got all those specs from a test by Car Craft magazine of most stock LS cams on a stock 5.3L LM7.
The ones that stood out for me were the LQ9 and LS2.
The LQ9 gained 40 HP while losing VERY little on the low end and the LS2 gained 78HP with not much loss on the low end.

Cam is still in the motor I picked up on the cheap. I just pulled the rear cover to get the numbers. Still deciding whether to keep or sell (don't want to misrepresent).

Might be able to pull a rocker and measure pushrod travel.

The Zo6/LS6 5308 cam has a smaller base circle also...the Vette's that ran that cam, used longer valves to compensate.

Just a reminder...if you run one in a "standard height valve" LS engine, you will need longer pushrods.
