Default Questions about milling 862 heads for 5.3

I have 2000 model 5.3 with dish pistons. Im getting my stuff in order to do a head cam swap. I was considering WCCH or PRC cylinder heads. The 862 castings with a 57cc chamber and using the .041 head gaskets. I really want 10.5:1 compression with the TSP 224/228 cam. I cant find the cam lift specs.

I wondering why Im reading post saying if I mill my 862 heads to get a 57 or 56cc chamber then I will have ptv issues once over let's say .550 lift? Is it that the PRC and WCCH heads have had chamber welded to make it smaller so the ptv is not as much an issue VS milling a set of 862 heads .040 and possible problems with ptv?

I run the PRC 5.3 heads on a 61cc. Will this be going in a LS1?

Just spoke to a guy who has the cam sheet for his TSP 224/228 112lsa. The actual lift is .581/.588 .

Was that for an early TSP cam? TSP switched from Comp grinding their cams to doing it in house some time back. On TSP's site the lift for the 224/228 cam is listed at .600/.600.
Comp's specs were slightly different, and might be what your friend is talking about.
