Default tightest fit 24x reluctor

i remember reading in a thread somewhere one of the vendors saying their 24x billet reluctor wheel had a tighter tolerance than others but cant find the post anymore.. anyone know who sells it??

CBM sells them.

CBM-11409

It's not that they are a tighter fit but that they are 1 piece and not 2 like the factory. The factory 2 piece ones are pressed together and friction welded in a few spots. They tend to come apart

nope not the post it was a post for troubleshooting help on a running issue and turned out his wheel had spun. a vendor chimed in that their wheel is a few thousandths smaller id than oem neither LME or CBM says anything about on their websites in the description

Tack weld it in place. As long as the fit isn't sloppy it won't matter.

I posted a few years ago when my reluctor wheel spun and was troubleshooting what it was. Factory reluctor spun and was soposed to have a .007 interference fit and when it was measured after it spun, it had .003. I upgraded to a billet 24 tooth and had it welded to the crank and then rebalanced. The factory one did not split apart on mine, just the fit sucked. I will always weld a billet one from now on.
