Default BTR LS1 Stage 1 vs Stage 2...

For a street car, 223 duration vs 227 duration. Which would you choose?

I'd DD a Stage III all day long (with a good tune), but of the two Stage II.
Too many have wished they went bigger. You're in there anyway doing springs, trunions, pushrods, chain, oil pump, gaskets, etc. and a converter, so Stage III is my recommendation.

Stage 4 😜. With a good tune anything is doable. I drove my m6 with the stage 4 quite a bit for daily duties.

Go smaller so you don't end up hating the car. No one ever hated their car with too small of a cam, but go too big and you will hate it.

This is good advice, especially if-
It's your only car
You have a significant other
You don't have significant money set aside for major repairs/rebuild
***If you're on the wrong side of all three of those, skip the cam for now.

You should be realistic about how toys and real life can conflict. If you don't, you'll end up having to sell it before you're ready or look at it not running for long periods of time.

You're always better to slightly under cam than slightly over cam. The HP difference between the two is probably 5hp.
