LSA Heads Discontinued?????
So I'm working on some upgrades for my truck, build is as follows:
2005 GMC 4x4 - 35" tires f+r lockers 4.88 gears, etc
built trans- edge tc
Stock lq4 bottom end
LSA Supercharger- added 6 months ago
Custom CAI
65lb injectors
My latest endeavor was to swap heads for a set of LSA's and an LS9 cam. I had all of the parts show up on Monday and Tuesday for a weekend swap, but unfortunately both heads were damaged (most likely due to GM's poor packaging). I had ordered them from Summit, and when I called they said they were out of stock and there was a backorder so they would not be able to get me a replacement set. I followed up with a call to SDPC to order some, which they initially said they had in stock, but after providing my CC number and waiting on hold for 20 minutes, they came back and said there was a problem with the part number and it was being discontinued. All of that said, does anyone know what is up with the LSA heads pn 12626958? I have the truck apart at this point, and really liked the lsa heads for their performance, price point, and thick decks. If anyone has a replacement part number, alternative head ideas that don't break the bank, or a reputable vendor with LSA heads in stock, I would be very appreciative. I suppose my last option is to take the damaged heads to a machine shop, but I hate to come out of pocket a couple hundred bucks to fix someone else mistake.

Besides all that, GMPP CNC port jobs are far from the best around. The increased volume does NOT show as greatly increased flow OR performance. Doing a search on these forums will bear this out

I've got a brand new set of LSA heads for sale. Stainless valves dual springs screw in studs guide plates etc etc. Never bolted on or touched the block
