just an fyi stock 5.3 pistons are dished I believe 9cc's and the 4.8 pistons are flat-tops that have the same compression height and pin diameter and are sold in stock, .010, .020, .030, and .040" oversize

I really like 243 heads milled.and ported and then you pick a cam and typical Bolton should out you just shy of 400 whp. Unless your set on staying NA you could pick up a good complete turbo kit on budgetbuildinc.com including fuel system foe less than what a stroker kit will run you and you avoid opening up your engine. One should always avoid opening up the engine if not a must. For less money you.could have a 700whp build. Or there's a vortech v3si centrifugal blower foe about 3k
