So I originally drove my 2000 Camaro z28 to the car shows and stuff but i was completely unsatisfied with going and hearing and seeing everyone cars. But im a person who is happy with what I have and could afford at the time. The car was repainted the factory red had new gaskets and complete 3" exhaust to a lm1 oh and a slp lid that was it. Plus some weight reduction (a.c., egr, air, etc). But since i was unsatisfied with that this is my current build in progress let me know if I missed anything or what I could improve or what you guys think. Hard to say but maybe around 440 rwhp or so. Alot of that will depend on who does those heads, the tune itself, and the dyno type as well. As long as the tune is good I wouldn't worry about a specific dyno number. Are you upgrading the fuel pump?

He's right about the Fast TB as well. My tuner said the same thing. From my understanding it can be a pita to tune sometimes due to the small IAC opening. Not saying it can't be done by a good tuner, but it is more of a challenge

Well i'd ask Diablo ahead of time then lol. So will you be driving the car without a tune for a while? There are no reputable tuners within a few hours of where you're at?

To make 500 rwhp you would need all the premium top shelf parts. That means a good aftermarket casting for the heads, proper valvetrain, etc...Also in my honest opinion, I would not drive the car aggressively until it has a proper tune

yeah but is either worth it? Even with the setup that I have and many other were still very shy of the 500+ mark. And no i wouldn't drive it aggresively at all. Just to get it tuned I actually dont plan to take it to the track either tbh. Maybe once in awhile though.

To get that last say 50 hp or so, you'll spend a lot more money than its worth IMO. I wouldnt even consider it or worry about it unless you have money to burn here. That's just my personal opinion. Enjoy what you have now. It's going to be a big improvement

Perfect. Once it's tuned right I think you'll be very happy with it. You'll be adding a lot of power all at once here, so it will be a huge seat of the pants difference

Most A4 LS1s with a good professionally ported or after market head will make around 450 hp. To get to the 500+ hp requires a lot more $ and know how. It can be done but everything has to be optimized. Using cheap parts and no offense, home ported heads, will not get you there. You're talking about the best of everything and things most don't think of. Electric water pump, lite wheels, carbon fiber drive shafts, and under drive pulleys just to name a few.
