your car will never not “look” like an 11 flat car but If it sounds like a 12.5 and runs 9.80 with the civility of a daily driver; then that’s cool too.
Good luck to the OP with getting back to the project and perhaps will consider a snail muffler treatment

If you are seeking to go fast in a straight line then yes forced induction is the easiest way to go... my car for that is a 08 GT with a little 88mm single on it... But, I bought the vette to do more than just accelerate...... I like going around corners and stopping too. so, with that said.... N/A is the way to go when doing a road course build. mid to top end pull is what you want as well as extending the useful range of RPM. So some of us do see the advantages of N/A over forced Induction. Give me a good set of heads that flow well everywhere with an over square engine that loves to rev and it makes VIR .... A whole LOT of fun.
