New Cam/Lifters/Rockers,,, Use a high zinc break-in oil,, Its worth it.. Especially new lifters on a new cam, even if its a roller you still gain by getting the right burnish on the cam and lifter whether flat or roller surfaces.. You can see the difference with the naked eye after about 30 minutes of run time.. Dumping a quart in occasionally through the life of the motor is good as well.

All based on road race and sprint cars but I'm a believer.. !

I've been told the front bearing always shows a bit of copper.
