Time for more power

It is alive!!!! Got the coolant bled of air and raised idle rpm to 1050 where it seems happy. Really made it sound a lot better there, 925 sounded way low for it and I need the oil splash for the lifters.
having an issue with tach and oil pressure gauge in the stock cluster not reading. Chasing that connection problem. Before I drive it. Tomorrow is bleed brakes then add fluid to transmission. May have to pull intake to trace down the bad connection.
also valve covers and spacers are leaking . Have to fix that too. But it sounds angry for sure

Congrats on the start up!

little idle video. Took it to get gas, feels very solid. Exhaust wrap on headers and exhaust to the x pipe was well worth it. Everything is nice in the car and all the noise out the back. I have found a bad oil pressure sensor so pulling intake tomorrow to change that and try to get the valve cover spacers to seal. Also the 4port coolant crossover has a leak.will be easy to fix with intake out the way.
Jacob I told you I didnt need the throttle body spacer but it seems my throttle wont go full throttle either without it. It doesn't hit, just the cable wont adjust anymore and it's all it will go without the spacer. The spacer will also make my air intake hose reach better.

That valvetrain is nice and quiet. Just wait until you have it tuned and can lay on the pedal. Throttle response will be the good

I've been patient this long, 1 more week won't hurt to bad . I hope

So after fighting 0 oil pressure on my gauge but knowing that oil was getting to top of motor due to leaking valve covers. Finally found that my sensor was good and indeed not getting oil to the sending unit I called dart again.
turns out that no where in the instructions does it tell you to plug this hole but it is needed or oil wont reach the port for sending unit to read.
plugged and now has 45 psi at idle

I went for a drive earlier and still have minor issues to work out , valve cover spacer seeping and the water coolant crossover kit I used seeping coolant. Minor but only able to take short drives.
I started it off with mass air hooked up though I normally run efi live custom operating system 5 speed density. With maf working I see that I max it out and command 12.0to1 and was seeing 10.77 to1 air fuel.
I'm ok with that as it tells me I may be ok with the 255lph pump for now. I have a new 340lph to put in but have been reading I may need an adjustable pressure regulator and return line. I will do that another time if I can.
seeing 27 degrees timing and no knock so today I swapped back to speed density. I have the idle good this way so tomorrow after I fix those pesky spacers I will go do some speed density tuning. Even though it's very rich , 2nd gear roast the Mickey Thompson 295x45x 17 drag radials. Tq for days

Well the 200-4r didnt survive long. 2nd gear band broke so I'm trading it for an extreme automatics 4l80. Ptc will trade me 2of my bullet converters 8" & a 9.5" billet for a single disk lock up. Should not be out of pocket much but i'm sure it will hold for a while. Going back with rmvb and trans brake but with lock up. 200 was a non lock up.
will update when back together in a few weeks or so

4l80 transmission is in, going to bring the driveshaft to be cut and balance tomorrow morning.
transmission is a 4l80 with trans brake and rmvb. Sfi cert.bellhousing.
converter is a ptc 245mm with single disk lock up. I am skeptical of the converter as it seems from what he told me it should stall(3800-4000) and fall back to 5200 on the shifts ,I dont feel he even read my build sheet which gave every detail of the build.
I will run it good or bad for a while to collect data and dyno with it. Go to track on it. I have been talking with circle d in messages about trying something of his that will really work with my combination. That will be February or March though. I need to just drive and enjoy the car a little while
