What's the cost/performance ratio difference between these 2 combos:
Gen 3 Iron 5.3 LM7 bored to 3.800 with TFS 220cc heads (328cc)
Gen 3 Iron 6.0 LQ9 bored to 4.030 with TFS 220cc heads (370cc)
Figure 9.5 to 10 compression and an S48x turbo with BTR stage 3 turbo cam or similar.
K1 Chevy LS1 Forged Crank 3.622 used in both cases, with the rest of the combo in both cases being something like:
WISECO custom pistons
Lunati 6.125" Pro Billet Connecting Rods, .927" Wrist Pin, 2.1" Crank Pin
ARP 8740's
Clevite H main Bearing Set (MS-2199H)

Let's say the 328 combo puts you at 850 hp on 17 lb of boost and 1050hp on 24 lbs of boost and C16 fuel, how much more would you think the 370 combo would give at similar boost levels? Just trying to get an idea of cost vs performance between these two. If there's a better head to use on the 6.0L that is worth the increase in cost...?

I'm asking what the power difference would be between those setups at similar psi and what the build cost difference would be. Just seems like it would make more sense to go with the 370 if it's not that much more than the 328, as the price difference between it and a 328 isn't that big? Or maybe I'm over looking something?
