Checked it out, not too bad... I wonder how well they compare to BMR? Seems like BMR uses a 2inch square instead of 1.75 tubular for the founders... They also have a 4 point which I'm considering if I'm really gonna carve some corners but might be Overkill lol.

I have double diamond weld in connectors and the chassis is solid. I jack up the front corner about 3" and the back wheel is off the ground lol. They're not a popular choice, but I'm a fan.

Placing order for k member... Any idea difference between BMR and umi? I read previous posts from maybe 8 years ago about some people having issues with some welds busting on the BMR... Has it changed or updated the design/build? Couldn't find anywhere about a warranty on any of them if there is any...

I used a combination of oven cleaner, a long handle scraper with a razor blade end and a red scotch brite pad.

Acetone worked great, finished with some 800 grit paper. Think it looks good, block wasn't nicked too bad I don't believe from my previous noob moments... Been playing with the idea of a 6.0 block (other thread started) but not sure yet. Grinded one side of an old bolt down to clean out the bolt holes (gets a lot of funk out) and finishing with the air compressor.

Was really the only questionable spot on it... Had a few that weren't as bad... Think it happened when I used the green 3m wheel. Should seal up fine right? Catches lightly on nail but not bad. If I use MLS gaskets, would copper spray help?

got the first head installed on driver side... Them arp bolts went in smooth since I cleaned the threads pretty good. Torqued the bolts 25-50-75 the first 10 and then 25 on the top short ones. Ordered K-member today, went to go pick it up and couldn't. I guess my money isn't good enough (or a confirmation email/my information/ID) to go pick it up without the card in hand (purchased online). Usually pay through paypal (which doesn't require the card to be shown...) but had the GF order it from her account on my summit racing account. 40 min drive later and the lady saying the dollar amount was too high to not have it, I'm at home empty handed. Going back tomorrow with the card, hopefully they don't tell me that she needs to go pick it up (which then they need my authorization!!) Policy makes sense but at the same time doesn't. Not happy about it. Spend too much money there to waste my time/gas for nothing.
