Thinking about street sweeper ht with tony momo afr 223 heads
Ok guys like the title say how would this combo go together the street sweeper ht 228/232 on 112 Lsa with tony momo afr 223 heads ? going in my 99 camaro ss a4. I already did long tub headers 1/34 slp lm1 exhaust with hi flow cats ls6 intake pptb with circle D 3200 stall . So with that heads and cam set up what kind of power am I looking at to the wheels and Motor . Will I gain lots low end and mind range and top end as well ? And will I even like this set up ? Does anyone have this same set up ? Are you guys happy with this combo ? Let me know please couse I want to make at least 500 to the wheels thanks

Maybe this will help, maybe this won't...
I chased 500 RWHP with a moderate cam using Mamo 220 heads and came up 4 HP short. Mine was 227/235, so close enough to yours. The car will run great, it will be a blast to drive, and you will be quite happy. What you posted below is likely to be around 430-450 HP, around 400 torque, and will outrun some cars with more power than you have due to a nice broad torque curve.
Here are the key differences:
1. I ran true duals. X pipe worth a lot
2. I ran T56. manual transmission will dyno higher vs stalled auto
3. I ran 1-7/8 headers
4. Light Clutch
5. Electric Water Pump
6. Short travel lifters
7. Fast 102 intake
In truth, there are tons of optimization steps that I did that are really too numerous to list out here, but if you read the 346 thread in my link... the whole thread, not just the first post with the final build and results... you will see everything that worked and did not work, plus all the learning along the way.
Point is, you are not going to do heads and cam without the supporting mods and get 500

^What he said! You are going to give up a lot of low-mid range power to get 500whp through a A4 with a 346...3200 stall wont be near enough converter for the cam you will need. The 228/232 wont get you there even with those heads, especially with your intake, header, and exhaust selection. your best bet is to start with a 4" bore imo for a street car.

I'd shy away from the Procharger kits though. You really need an Aster bracket, even at 8psi. And then I don't love the twin intercooler setup. The issue is the Procharger kit with a FMIC and Aster bracket is really expensive for what it is. But it's the easiest way to keep A/C with FI.
Back to the OP's question... the SS-HT is a good cam and will pair with those heads well. You will add around 100rwhp. So that's a good bump.
