Thoughts on my HCI build
Been buying parts for my HCI build for my 98 WS6 6 spd, this will be my first build I've done and just want someone who knows a thing or two to look over and give their input.
The meat and potatoes...
PRC 225cc as cast, 62cc chambers, no mil, .051 head gaskets
SNS Torque Max Stage 2 227/235 .618 .605 110+3
Vengeance Ported FAST 92/NW 92 TB
SE 1 7/8, ORY already on the car
C5r Chain
LS7 Lifters
WS6Store rockers w/trunion upgrade
ATI Balancer no underdrive
Monster LT1-S twin disk
What do you guys think? Just a street car/weekend warrior, wont see the track but maybe 1-2 times a year. Am I using the heads to their potential with the smaller cam? I keep second guessing myself on the cam and thinking about stepping up to the SNS 3 or BTR 3.
Thanks!

All looks good to me. I think them track visits will get you a low 11 sec slip.

If you dont mind spending more money on heads the trickflow genx 215s are hard to beat flow wise especially on the exhaust side.

I guess I should clarify, I've already bought everything in the list I mentioned, just wanting input on what I have going however nothing is final since I havnt started the build yet. That's why I was wondering about sending the cam back and going a little bigger. Also I have bought an adjustable pushrod to check the length, what size (OD) should I go with once I determine length?

If you are only planning a couple track outings a year, keep the cam smaller. You gotta love with it the other 363 days of the year. Sns2 is a great cam. There are a few others worth checking out also with less chop that will be easier to drive and tune

Thanks Darth, its always good to hear peoples input on these things to help me make up my mind. I don't want to be disappointed in the thing after all the money spent.
