Yeah, great video! Makes it look simple, IF it's a stock-type pump.

I don't think I centred my stock m295 by turning the crank like that, I'll make sure I do it when I replace the cam next week, appreciate the video.

It works for non stock also but did you notice how he said " Note disassembly of the pump will void the warranty"
I remove the cover and use the shims myself and but didn't know it voided the warranty though.
I learned real quick to use an impact to disassemble to pump, They can be a pain if you're not careful.

He is recommending voiding the warranty then by shimming it.. Strange.

What’s a warranty really worth nowadays? Kinda like haggling with an insurance adjuster. Absolutely not worth my time. All the big corporates have big boy lawyers to keep them from actually helping you, when you need them.
I consider myself a “professional warranty voider” and I have no regrets.

Yep, They'll give you a replacement pump if you're lucky, They aren't going to pay for any other damage in most cases. A buddy bought a brand new crankshaft/rods/pistons while refreshing a 360 sprint car engine, The crank broke on the dyno taking out the block/cam and one head. It was a 12k fix when all said and done. The builder is one of the top 360 sprint car engine builders in the business but it still didn't matter. The manufacturer didn't even want to look at the crankshaft to see if there were any defects. I understand the "Race Parts= No Warranty" part of it but at least try to find out why your product failed and maybe help out if it was defective since it was all new.
