Got back on this thing some today. Drilled out this passage on the back for the sensor to 1/2 to make sure I got plenty of flow to control oil pressure. Tigged on my bung for the an line on my valley plate, started test fitting the crank scraper. Little
bits here and there lol

Cam degreed and installed, oil pan fitting tigged on for the pressure return, oil pump installed, spent probably 2 hours trimming on the crank scraper to get it to fit, nice part about this aftermarket pan Is I can use a full length windage tray. So that’s installed too.

Picked up an 8.8 from a town car, some 4:30 gears, 31 spline track lock and a set of 9” axles today. I’m going to swap the car from a 9” to an 8.8, don’t want a spool and this stuff fell on my lap cheap

It's obvious he's going all out for every 0.05 tenth of a second. lol

t350 trans
8.8 rear

In a 346 i can see how lighter everything could benefit some. The car weighs nothing also at 2700

I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes

Yup, the 8.8 consumes less power and I believe aweighs less also. Plus I’m tired of spools. Posi for a 9” is $$$$$$$$$. With the 9” axles and ends in this I’ll hve a very nice setup.
