Default Lm7 in light car, what cam to choose?

Hi all.

I'm rebuilding a lm7 for a 2400lb sportscar with a Tremec TKO 600 gearbox.
I'll be using a Doorman LS2/LS6 intake, 92mm Edelbrock TB, LS7 lifters, new bearings, bushings on rockers (considering) Edelbrock Pro Flo 4.
Now I need some help in choosing a cam for my setup. I'm going to use stock 862 heads for now, but will later put on 243's. This will be a 100% street car, so a cam that will give a good clean pull from low to 6500'ish would be great

I would consider the WS6store High Lift Hot Cam. Pretty flexible, nice lope, good bottom end.

This is the kit I'm picking up today. Talked to someone on the phone from Summit Racing and he said it was a good fit.

Would like to add that I would like to have a stealthy idle, meaning not to announce that I have jazzed up the engine

In that case look for intake durations less than 215, and LSA at least 112. Plus you want the IVC around 30-35

We agree with LS7Colorado. The SUM-8715 Ghost cam would be a great candidate for this combo. It has a nice wide powerband, smooth/stealthy idle, and will have great driveability.

It's also available in a cam, spring, and installation kit combo SUM-8715-2-BHV. We're currently running our "SAVINGS" promo so that will help save money on your purchase.

We don't want to hi-jack the thread. Start a new cam recommendation thread about your combo and goals or shoot us a PM.

Thanks to both Ls7colorado and Summitracing for the recommendations. I'll certainly put the SUM-8715-2-BHV kit on the top of the list so far.

I know this is almost impossible to answer, but given my combo of intake, TB, heads, free flowing headers, Pro Flow 4. Any ide of BHP and torque numbers, using this Ghost Cam? Any ballpark numbers?
