Definitely put a tubular K in it. Could send the trans out, or have a new bottom end built.

you think staying with a LS1 or should I go 6.0. Don’t plan on making over 700 at the tire

Put rods and pistons and good hardware in the ls1 and keep rocking.

Tubular K-member for sure.

What sort of driveshaft? If the DS hasn't been upgraded, probably time for chrome moly DS or carbon fiber if cost isn't an issue.

The rest I'd bank for a new short block or T56 upgrade.

Goals would drive the mods and there hasn't been any stated other than staying under 700hp.

If you just want to enjoy driving around, upgrade the t56. They hold FAR more than rated, but eventually something has to give.

If your going to stay at 700HP. You will be fine with the motor setup you have. No need to change anything. Concentrate on the chassis. First thing I would get is a TH400 trans. But that's me. Gear you have should be perfect. Put a Pro Ratchet shifter on it and it will be no different than a stick, but way faster. You can bang each gear up and down without worrying about the clutch. I always loved the stick shift cars and trucks. Now that I have a bad *** TH400 and Coan converter with a Pro Ratchet, you couldn't give me one. But like I said, that's me. Just a suggestion.

Being you have a pro charger, and the back sounds like its done up good. The QA-1's you have will be fine at that Hp level. The SA in the rear should be fine too. Right at 900hp was the cut off for us. Yours will still wheelie about 6" to a foot though. You will have to play with the launch rpm and or milk the boost rate (timing) a little to keep the front down. I would concentrate on cutting weight on the front so the car can transfer the weight right. Move your battery to the right rear. BTR has a front end lighting kit that is very nice that is made by RSM. A good brake setup will help lighten it as well. K-member and lower control arms, get chrome moly. Some light wheels help too. Other than that, everything should be fine. The motor setup you have should handle 700hp no sweat. A good moly DS is a must. Seen carbon fiber explode. What a mess. That stuff went everywhere. Best of Luck to You on whatever you decide.

Like someone already said. You need to list everything that has been done already, and what your goals are for the car. If its street only, I wouldn't do a dam thing. Save your money and go have fun. Your fine. At the end of the day, you will never get all that to the ground on the street anyway without changing a bunch of stuff around.
