Rocker bolt washer/spacer

Rocker bolt washer/spacer
So, I bought the WS6 Store/RPM Speed rockers a while back, and now a few of them are loose. The bolts are at 22-25 ft/lbs, so I really do not want to try to tighten them anymore. I got some new bolts, but I want to add a washer to them to ensure that the rockers are tight. What washer would be recommended?

When you say they are loose can you move them side to side or front to back. Front to back would be wrong pushrod or bad lifter. Side to side would be the bolt is to long. I would get the correct bolts over putting washers in there. If you have after market heads the bolt holes will be open on the bottom( most likely) so bolts will not bottom out.

The few rockers that feel loose are probably those that are on the cam base circle, lifters bled off some of the preload with engine off, nothing abnormal there. If in doubt, turn engine half turn and check. These rockers will become tight while others will be "loose".
If pushrods length was set correctly and engine ran correctly for years, they don't need to be re-adjusted.
If you have any new valvetrain noise not present before, it could be a lifter going bad (discharging too quick?) and cause loose rocker or if you over revved your engine, maybe bent pushrod.
