4.8 rods and 5.3 rods are not one and the same and I've heard they're good to 1000hp but frankly I wouldn't waste my time with them. Just buy some forged rods and pistons for the boosted build.

That sucks..Texas Speed Super I-Beam's are used in Cleetus McFarland's boosted engines and although a little more expensive than a Callies Compstar it's definitley stronger. Wiseco boost rods are a little more expensive but when it comes to connecting rods go with the most expensive ones you can afford. Callies I-Beams are a good choice and so are Carrillo and Oliver rods.

In Texas we do not need a license or permit to carry a concealed weapon or to own a supressor. The problem is that if an FFL sells a supressor to an individual in Texas that does not have an FFL the government will revoke their FFL license. Seems to me that someone should get into the business of making them here and selling them to Texas residents and just tell the ATF to GFT..

You know for Ron Desantis to be such a liked guy by the GOP why hasn't he enacted constitutional carry in his State. We all know why places like CA and NY don't
