Default Need good advice on HEAD CHOICE

Hi.
I am building a 6.0
Using wisco 11.1 pistons.
i wanted to know if the enforcer head would keep the higher compression ratio. And what chamber size am i looking to get. Please.
And a chopacabra. Cam.
what would be a good head choice please
currently own #317 heads that came on the engine stock. My intentions are with a 5 speed in a mgb and a cAR to beat on..
oh pump gas please.93

Nah man, that's one of the ways beer is better than women.

How are you determining the 11:1 compression? The 317s aren't bad for a stock cathedral port head but you might look at finding some 799/243 heads. The 862/706s have 61cc chambers and would raise the compression even more. I agree that going to an aftermarket CNC head would be a plus because they do make more power.

What octane fuel do you have in your area? is this 6.0 an iron block or aluminum? Alum block can tolerate higher compression ratios...

is 11.1 to high . I have. Built small blocks with that compression and also a few 454. Open chamber engines.
I dont want to need additives .with this ls engine. But i like the crispness of a high compression engine also.

Please advise. thanks

Send heads to Texas speed. Get them ported and milled to desired static compression ratio. Summit racing has a compression ratio calculator as does Wallace racing. Should make calculations easy.
