Default What application would this cam be best for?

214/222 .520/.528 114

Did a quick search and read a small bit about it not being that good for N/A applications..

Reason I'm interested..

-Cheap
-Emission Legal
-Should handle a 150 shot extremely well

This cam w/ S2 heads..

There's really no reason to have that much extra exhaust duration on a mild N/A motor. LS1 heads flow well enough on the exhaust side that a split is not neccessary in most NA applications.

Introducing Nitrous to this cam would probably work very well considering its a 114 and you have the extra exhaust duration to help get it out as fast as it is coming in.

Looks like a N2O cam maybe? Thats a ***** cam if you ask me. Why not a 224/224? It will pass CA emmisions, I am sure it will pass Hawaii emmisions too.

THAT is some of the funniest **** I have ever read on this site

I'll say it is mild. In certain instances it could be a very good cam IMO.
Do a search for small cams and you'll see that some people have made very near 400hp cam and bolt on with cams *near* this size.

If that's "*****" I'll have some

150 shot, **** with the 340 pump id get a set of 30 lb injectors and jet for a 175 shot and really utilize that cam.

214/222 should very easily pass emissions. and it should make pretty good power, granted youd probably get more with the 224, but if you are spraying a 150-175 shot, honestly the extra 10-15 rwhp if that high, from the 224 becomes irrelevent imo.

some of the best streetable power bands have been from small cams paired with a nice set of heads.

what's wrong with your current set-up that you are considering switching out the TR cam?

I'd spend the money on a 224/224 114 or 220/224 115 if you want something milder than what you have.
