Looks like the end of a snap ring (used on an aftermarket piston pin)...?

Right track... wrong moving part... The piston pins were polylocks (I think that was the name)

yella terra for sure. I had a set sitting in my room for almost 6 months... They didn't fit under my 98 valve covers but I've looked at them a lot!

no surprise there, I don't think anything will fit under a set of 98 perimeter bolt covers. Those things are flat!

So, just upgrade to newer heads

That goes along with my belief that broken parts are the perfect excuse for upgrade. I already sold them though.

No idea since I only drive the car maybe once a week and the motor only has like ~3000 miles tops. I hardly ever run it hard it either since I never drive it.

Ya know whats funny...... There is nothing wrong with any of the rockers and I have NO idea where the piece of snap ring came from...... I guess Ill find out when it breaks.
