All, I am halfway into the cam swap. I am ready to do the springs and I have the Larry's spring tool, but I am not quite sure I understand how to use it. I see the threaded bolt goes into the rocker arm hole, however it seems like the tool is so long the back rests on the head. Wont it dent the head since it is made of aluminum??
Any help is welcome.
Thanks,
Scott

that is where it is supposed to rest. screw your stud in, place the tool on the stud, then put washer and nut on. then take a ratchet and tighten until you can get the locks off. then loosen

Sorry Trey but unless I can get at least 10 more guys wanting the tool I won't be making any more. Orders were too slow to stock the tools.
Glad the tool worked out well for you Scott.
If you are concerned about scraching the head then a piece of aluminum tape on the tool should be good insurance. I didn't use anything when I did my head and no scraching. I did keep the tool and head clean.
Thanks to all who ordered. I appreciate your business.
