What do you mean by no stall? Can you brake stand the car to get the tires to spin? What converter are you running? Any ses codes, have you datalogged it? I ran that cam for 2 years with a Yank Y3200 with great results. The cam itself doesn't really pick up hp uintil 3000-4000 rpms over stock, then really wakes up, but with a 3500 stall converter you should really light the tires up.

Your post is not very clear. You have installed two different 3500 converters that won't stall more than 1500 rpm? You have an 02 so you have what is called 2nd gear start. Put the shifter in 2nd, mash down real hard on the brake pedal and give it some gas. Watch the tach ans see what the max rpms that the engine will rev to and report back.

I think what he is saying is that his 3500TC won't brake stall higher than 1500rpm. It is a bit low but a 3500 won't brake stall to 3500, only to 2000rpm max.
As far as not braking the tires loose that is fishy!! LS6 shines above 4000 but will make enough power to brake the tires loose for sure down low.

It will break stall a whole lot higher with the shifter in 2nd gear in a 2nd gear start car.

I have the 01 LS6 cam in my truck with the stock stall, and I break the tires loose quite easy w/o any tuning and straight up valve timing.

I hope the advice of the rest of the forum helps you!
And, if I may be off topic for a moment -- The 35 hp you dynoed after the cam... I'm assuming that's RWHP. Was that with tuning or without? And did you go from the stock LS1 cam to the LS6 cam? And what year was that LS6 cam. I was just trying to get some idea of what my 5.3 gained.

Good luck!

I never said run the car that way. It's just a good way to test the actual stall speed on converters.

I stalled the car in second gear and only got the rpm up to 2200
.Before the cam the car would stall up fine almost 3000 rpm on the foot brake and it would smoke the tires no problem. After I installed the cam it will only foot brake to 1500 rpm in first gear, and the car when you take off feels week. after 3000 the car starts pulling. The car had 305 rwhp before the cam and now it dynoed at 344 hp. I am not getting any codes no check engine light.I removed timming cover made sure I installed the cam correctly. I thought it was the converter so I removed it sent it back to Art Carr they said it was fine, They Sent me a new one any way. Installed it and the same thing . I Don't know what it could be.

Thanks for your help.
