No doubt, there is a lot of trex info floating around.

In short, it surges like a crazy bitch, you will need a high stall or 4.10s and it makes power from 3500-7k, it also eats valvesprings for breakfast lunch and dinner.

well, i'd suggest trying to search again. stock gearing would not be a pretty sight. it'd still run, it'd just not be nearly as well behaved. on cold starts you're just gonna have to let her sit and warm up...

It's all in the tune! I have very little surge with mine...It does run better warmed up, but nothing to serious when cold..

No offense dude but 119mph is not that high for your combo, id like 123mph for that big a cam with every thing you have. Im interested in Trex, thats why im commenting here, but i have turned 119.45mph with a 220* cam andmy lame shifting at 3500lbs. Where do you race? D/A?

Ya but with that big of a cam and the gears he is running that might be about right maybe a little slower. I'm not really that well informed on cams so i could be wrong. Just my $.02

I've seen 124 mph so far (1500' DA) my first real time out @ 3500 lbs...found some room for improvement too I think

What he said! put in my new block and the trex cam in on wed night, would not fire up at all. Two hrs later had the car idle just around 900-950 with very little surging. The cam is a beast, works well with my 3600 stall and stock gears. I can spin the tires form a 40mph roll on my auto with no shift kit! As for daily driver goes with a good tune...not a problem, but you will have people asking u 2 pop the hood everytime your in a parking-lot! HAHA
just my .02

well it would be nice, but 4.10's in 4L60e trannies are not good... it would work that tranny real hard...

not to mention the power made by the T-rex would give the tranny hell anyways
